Thats because they usually only do that trick once.

But yes,a dottyback would fit in nice with clowns and a cover, lots of beautiful coloring on some dotty's.As mentioned with established clowns, more passive fish will likely be bullied, dotty's can hold their own.

Sixline is a small one, introduced last, and so far haven't seen anything alarming from him in the 2 months he's been in there. He mostly lurks around in the rocks. The clowns will chase him off from time to time, and sometimes he'll chase back.

The Gramma on the other hand, I believe is responsible for killing two Chromis, and biting the banner off my Cardinal.

Lawnmowers can get pretty large, for a nano, I believe.

Up to 5 inches, won't really help with algae considering they produce a lot of waste/nitrates.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
If these clowns have been established for more than roughly 3 months you very well might have to proceed with caution.

I would move the scape around just prior to introduction, have an alternative tank available for the fish, even a breeder box to put the clowns in for a day or two to give the new fish some time to acclimate in piece.

For the shrimp, I would introduce at night with the lights off.

Are the clowns hosting an anenome or other coral, or have a place in the tank staked out for their lair? If so, they'll be more aggressive. Mine don't seem to be interested I can any of that, and they are pretty mellow. The are also Occilaris, the least aggressive clown.

Damsel will definitely hold his own against the clowns, but be warned. Damsels can be a nightmare. After using one as my starter fish 12 years ago, I decided never again. It tore up every other fish I put in there and had to pull out every single rock to get him out.

Shrimp shouldn't be a worry, as long as it's not tiny. Pick him out of the bag gently by hand, and place him on the rocks with the lights out, if possible. When they float down through the water column, the fish think "food?" I even have 2 tiny Sexy Shrimp, 1/2", in with Gramma, clowns, and Cardinal. So far, no trouble (knock on wood).

    Huh!!! confusion! confusion! confusion!.........lol

The clowns have been for 1 month, i had a chromis that irritated them so had shifted it to the sump for 3weeks and then dumped back in DT... now sold my chromis for a frag (took me an hour and a half to catch it).. well they tried hosting a zoa colony, but i guess they couldnt host it as they were full of black marks.. now they sleep upside down at the front corner of the tank...

Here are the fishes im intrested in finally after hearing...
    1) Bangai (but the clowns might stress them) XXX
    2) Royal Gramma (i guess they are not as agressive as bi dotty)
    3) Skunk cleaner (will introduce it to the tank when its completely dark)
    4) Any other basslet like Strawberry Dottyback????

Not like a Chromis to bother anything. Sure it wasn't the other way around.?

Generally speaking, I think you're safest, especially in a small tank, with only one of each type or shape of fish - i.e. one kind of basslet, one kind of wrasse, one kind of Cardinal, etc. If you had 150 gallons, it's a different story.

If you do want to take a risk and press your luck a bit, always most aggressive fish last, and get him as small as you can.
