suggestions for 6 foot

    my lfs is selling up and moving north to queensland so hes selling up all his stuff im gonna buy one of his 6 foot tanks so hopefully ill have a build thread soon as i put together the stand for it i will never downsize again becaues i get bored to easy i cant have all the fish i want ;D at least in a really big tank i can add something like ever 3 weeks without having to worry about over stocking
    im currently looking at lighting options for a 6 footer n e suggestions any one used led

    I use this on my 180 (6 foot tank) :
    Coralife Aqualight Pro, HQI MH Lamp + PC + Lunar LED

    this link goes to the 150 watt - search out the 250 watt version.

    It rests directly on my canopy top and creates maybe a 2" rise. It's black and my canopy is dark red so it really blends and just seems like it belongs on the set up.

    There are four 96 watt PC's and three 250 watt HQI MH's, its a nice set up that I have used for years without issue. Before this I had a retro set up installed in my canopy - it was cost effective, but heavy and noisy. This set up is quiet and easy to remove as its not too heavy. Good luck with the purchase !
