I'm getting my 250 watt halide pendant w/Phoenix 14K bulb on wednesday. I have no actinc supplement whatsoever. I'm looking simulate dawn/dusk with some LEDs. I know the Current LEDs are available, and I've also seen Ebays sellers, selling strips of em. Any ideas? I'd rather not use a t5's. limited space!

I guess I will explain the jump in lighting. I needed new T5 bulbs, but I'm getting a new tank in 6 months. 40 gallon cube. So instead of investing 90$ in new bulbs, I figure I'd put it towards an new fixture that I can use on the new tank.. ;)

Also I call this my monster nano. I have a 10 gallon fuge.. why stop there!

Yep, plan on it. Starting off with 4 hours of light too! I have a dimmer on my ballast, too(lumatech). Can lower ouput to 150W.

You dont need any actinic supplment on a 16 gallon tank, your 14k are plenty blue/plus with a 250 fixture over a 16 gallon were you gonna put another light fixture.

No, no other fixture. I just like the dawn/dusk effect
