Suggestions For clean up crew for 180

Well if i have a weakness in the saltwater hobby its over doing it with some things. I would like to know what packages from what sites you guys would buy if you had a 180. I plan on keeping around 20-25(maybe even 30 ) fish, yes ive done my research and know what direction im going in with the fish. I want a large bio load as i have about 500 plus gallon system that can handle a large bio load.


So doesnt have to just be a package from a site, can be something you make up, theres no wrong answer here just many right ones!!! I just want to get a feel for what everyone else would do!!

I would send an e-mail to John Maloney at reefcleaners.org. They make very good recommendations for cleanup crews, their livestock is very healthy and are all around excellent folks to deal with.

Agreed. You cant beat their service. Johns a very nice guy and he'll hook you up with about 500 extra snails that you didnt even pay for!

I can tell you that I think most people WAY overstock CUC... or use inappropriate livestock...
I have maybe 4 Cortez Turbos in my tank, maybe 5 smaller black turbos, only 1 red leg crab(I had like 50 red and blue crabs but the interceptor nuked them...)and like 5 emeralds cause they are funny to watch. And I have a handful of cerith snails. Could I add more... Yeah I don't feel I really need to though, just start small and add more if you need, thats my recommendation.

He's typically pretty fair, but you can always cut back on the order. He ships lots of extras too.

 

John at reefcleaners... will not do you wrong. He will just give you a suggestion as well.

I personally am not a major hermit fan, so I just bought the snails he recomended and have been quite happy. I already had about 8 red leg hermits.

+1 on he ships extras.. i ordered 100 dwarf cerinths and got about 200.. lol

I wouldn't add them all though I'd do a little at a time till your satisfied with what you got....
