    I have red and blue hermits....they get along fine. I also have a large brittle star....pretty much lives under a rock as well ;D

    Recommendations I have read are the black brittles are less likely to eat your fish than the colored ones or the serpent stars.

    Urban Legend??? I dunno! ::)

    Cool thanks.. I put a lot of work into my snails! I transported them home from off a shore in Key Largo! There were literally millions of them along the shore line on a sandy beach area. So I picked up close to 100 and put them in a bottle with some water. Then when I got to the house (keys) I went to the boat dock and got some more water in a gallon jug. I then transported them to the jug and they stayed in that for about 5 days. Then I had to prepare them for the 24 hour drive home to NY in my truck. I got 2 large freezer zip lock bags. and put half water and half air. Then I kept them in the cab of the truck the whole ride home and they all lived happily ever after!
