My a/c has been on 24/7 since last month. Tank temps haven't budged :)

Out here in AZ (115) it is a constant battle to keep tank temps. down. I have 2 ice cap fans in my DIY canopy and our A/C is set at 78 and my temp never goes above 81.;D Thank god for the fans.

Been using a fan in my sump, it doesn't let it go above 84. I'm gonna fan the top portion to blow away the heat of the halide and install another one in the sump. They really do make a difference. ;D

    Ten hours later .....

My main tank temp has fallen to 80* ....... vive la difference. Cool :)

My mini is stable at 81*

Going topless with a fan sure does make a difference.

    Frizza,
5 British pounds is $9.25, not $3.00. Still a bargan, though.

I have fans in both sumps and in the hood of the 300. They make a world of difference. Just watch the water level. My 210 used to loose 2-3 gallons a week. It now looses 6-10! If you don't have an auto top off hooked into a RODI unit it can be a pain to keep up with. On the other hand the 210 is running 2-3 degrees cooler and is generally under 80.
