Sump Buddy 40 Deluxe Opinion?

    Seriously considering the AETech's Sump Buddy 40 Deluxe. This is AETech recommends for a 65g with 20g sump for either FOWLR or reef tank.

    This model replaces the original Sump Buddy 40 and am told by AETech that it is rated equivalent to the Reef Devil performance wise but much easier setup and maintenance.

    It uses an acrylic collection cup vs. injection molded plastic, but also allows you to "pipe" the waste to an external container/collection bottle so does not have to be dumped nearly as often as a collection cup only skimmer, e.g., milk jug, etc.

    I'm hearing great things about downdraft skimmers and this one is very compact with claims of quick in-sump setup using a Mag Drive 7 or equivalent.
