A couple weeks ago the Petco/petsmart (cant remember which) in our area had their aquariums for $1 a gallon. I decided to buy a 55 gallon tank seeing that they were that cheap. Anyway I got to fooling around with it and decided that I would build a sump. So I messed around with it for the last few weeks and built a sump. I figured I have about $60 for the tank, and $50 for baffles and silicone. I figured I could build it and then turn around and sell it and try to make a few dollers on it. I basically built it for something to do. Well anyway I went to feed the fishies tonight and noticed there was water in the bottom of the stand. I got to digging around thinking I had a hose leak or the top on my reactor was leaking. After about 15 minutes of looking and not finding anything I pushed on the side of the sump and noticed water leak out. It had a crack at the seam.
Well needless to say I have a new 55 gal sump under the tank.

Well here is some pictures of the old set up.

WOW!! That would never work out for me like that. Mine would wait till Christmas Eve to crack. I love it when stuff works out.
