Sump Design

This is kind of how i'm thinking of doing my sump. Sorry for the horrible of the images but I dont have a scanner and i'm too tired to try and digitize the whole thing. If you can decipher my drawings I would love some criticizim

So what are you trying to accomplish... just a sump? You have your incomming, then the big section is your skimmer section, then the return section. Is that right?

It looks like you have over under bubble traps between your drain and skimmer, and none between your skimmer and return. Needs to be the other way around. It woun't really matter if you get some bubbles in your skimmer. You want to keep the bubbles from the skimmer making it to the return pump and going to your display tank.
