I have a question regading on of the drain lines on my new 120 with twin mega flow over flows. I am using a wet dry that I got off of Craigs list and it is kind of tall and my new stand has a brace in the middle of it. Will it cause any problem if one of the drain lines has a slight dip in it to clear the brace then a slight rise to connect to the wet dry?

You may get that "gurgling" sound that most ppl cant stand and try to get rid of. In order to avoid this, you must have an even flow from the DT to the sump. Luna

I got rid of the gurgling sound by using a 90 degree elbow on the inlet of my sump wet/dry. A simple $1.50 part cured this annoying problem. I just need to shorten the drain now, there is too much slack. I forgot what type of glue I used to hold the PVC to the ribbed hose.

I'm sure your old way looked something like this right? I had no problems with drain flow or anything like that, but the gurgling and toilet flushing sound drove me nuts. Fixing it as shown above ended that.

So let me get this straight. All that you did was put a 90 degree elbow where the drain line connects to the sump. Does the drain line still wave the dip in it or is that gone now? I am concerned that my drain out of the mega flow has about a 1/2" to 3/4" rise to get to the 90 degree elbow on my sump.

Yeah, thats the way I had it set up in my other sump. Just get rid of the hose and replace it with pvc. Luna

BTW, looking at the outlet of your skimmer in the second pic, remember that, that outlet needs to be above the water line to work properly. You might need to raise it a little. Luna

Thanks Luna. This is one of my "to-do" list items. I need to make a platform for my skimmer to sit on, I just haven't figured out the best way to do that yet. Maybe PVC and egg crate. :)
