sump/dt - water level

    This happened to me just before my first Rio 2100 went out. Really weird.

    Is it evaporation causing a lower sump water level or the course of the day ? If its steady fluctuation and constant all the time then you are putting water into the tank faster then it can get back to the sump.

    I noticed when the water is low due to evaporation. How about when it gets high? I mean higher than normal, even without topping off any water. Can that be a pump issue? The pump is new. I have Pan World 50PX-X Magnetic Water Pump

    Could there be a partially blocked return? I would send something through the return hose and see if there is anything that is not supposed to be there.

    ok, after playing around w/ the valves that are going back into DT, I think it's my pump being too strong. I am going to add a T on a return pipe and draw a back into my sump w/ a ball valve to adjust the water flow. Hope that will solve the problem. Thanks for all your inpu :)
