    180 G tank. Can I put my protein skimmer in the same section as my return pum? I have little room in the macro algae area. How much does the skimmer suck? Could the macro get sucked into the pump? sounds ify??

    Yes the macros will get sucked in the pump of the skimmer. That is not a good place for it. You can put it in the same chamber as the return pump or the first chamber.
