Hey all, so I just got all my plumbing done checked everything for leaks got it filled with fresh to make sure it runs smoothly, now my plumbing is making a lot of noise im using a mag 9.5 and it works out to a little bit over 700 gph after head loss, is this a little too much for a 90g. Thanks ill upload a picture when I get to my house computer

All new setups are going to be loud for awhile. The pipes need to become slimed for them to quite down.

Thanks for the fast reply, so it should be okay with the 9.5?

Yeah, do you have a ball or gate valve on the output of the pump?

You can just throttle that back until its at the flow rate you like.

The suggested range for sump flow is 6 to 10 times the sump's volume. This allows your skimmer to be more effective and your plumbing to run quieter.
