    Yes, it is ok to just put it back into the fuge. I have the same problem where my overflow enters the sump. Air bubbles coming from it will go to the surface, burst and then splash a little more salt. I don't really know if there's a good fix for this other than a herbie drain method, but then again, that only works for reef ready or drilled tanks. I wish I had known this when I was setting things up.

    I do my best to keep salt creep in check, but unfortunately, it will always happen for me. Just try and keep it as clean as you can. It won't take long until you're scraping it every 3 or 4 days.
