Wanted to know if this is enough light for my sump. I have LR with some with cheto. It's a 10w 6500k 5" by zoo med and it's on 24/7? Thanks

10 watt doesn't sound like much but cheato will grow in just about anything. It also depends on the nitrate/phosphate levels as that algae helps filter that out of the water. The more light/nitrate/phosphate the algae gets the more it will grow.

Doesn't seem like it's growing but I still have phosphates at .25 and nitrate at 5-10?

    I use this (linky linky):

My cheato has tripled in size. I have only been using this light for a week.

I purchased that light because it is a par30 12watt LED bulb. Doesn't heat up the water and lasts 50,000 Hours. Honestly, it might be worth a shot if you decide to try a new bulb.
