I can answer that after you tell me: How much flow do you currently have?

I just have two old power heads that I cant even tell you how much flow they put out. also the flow from my fluval 305 cannister filter so I would say I want to do away with the old powerheads and start new

On a 75, I would go with 2 Koralia #3s. I have two #1s on a 38 gallon, and they give a nice flow (very gentle but they move a lot of water). The ratings sound like a lot, but since it's a wide flow, and not a small stream like most powerheads, that amount of flow will be about right ( once you figure in your filter's, skimmer's, and sump return's flow (if you have a sump) ).
