sump pump size?

what pump do you think would be good for a 40 breeder? any pump brands? Im trying to keep this cheap so no $150 pumps.

have you checked out the rio's or the quiet ones? Both are very good pumps at a reasonable cost. We got a quiet one 6000 for our 150 and I am pretty sure it was less than $100.00 My brother got a rio 2100 for his 55 and I think it was right around $60.00.

 

Rio's are AWESOME!!! I have the 600gph model. I've been running it for about two years now with no problems and absolutely no noise. I can let it sit against the sump wall and still not hear a thing from it!

That would depend some on your overflow plans. Will it be drilled or an HOB overflow?
