Sump Question

    Hello,

    Just got myself a sump for my new system however my new tank had a leak... So im using the first chamber for my fish and corals.

    However i looked today and notice that the last section is completely blocked off from the rest. I have a picture...

    How do i use the last section as im puzzled :/

    Where did you buy that sump? Looks like a failure in the design.

    that may be saved by shaving a 1/2 inch off of it, that design, opening on the bottom looks like it will cause problems as well. I'd take it back.

    Okay,

    My LFS guy is saying its for automatic top off systems , water storage... (why?)

    I want to remove that glass panel and have a big Refugium , Would it work?

    Makes sense I guess. Most people have to have a place to store top off water anyhow.

    You wouldn't have a return compartment if you made all of it fuge...

    I'm thinking of removing the glass panel and getting it cut in half or 3/4 for a fuge.
