I am new to the hobby, and i am looking for a sump/refugium with pumps. My 100g tank already has an overflow built into it, and i am very eager to get started.

I am a noob to the hobby, and i'm not exactly sure what i need. In lamens terms i'm looking for everything i need filtration wise to get started efficently.

here is one i was looking at on ebay, it says it is built for a 200g tank. And since my tank is a 100g tank, id assume this one would be good enough. please comment on this :)

    Hey welcome to 3reef!

I looked and well, not real sure about that skimmer. They don't say what make it is, I'd be leery about it. Looks like a cheap one to me like a Jebo or Seaclone. Neither of those you want. email the seller and ask what kind it is. The pumps are ok, catalina aquarium is made in USA and they also make pretty descent lights(IMO) so the pumps might be good too. I like the light with the feet. Not sure if it would have enough light to grow chaeto or other plants though. The blue balls would have to go! If you do get it, take them out. They have been said to breed nitrates. I wouldn't chance that.
