    my question is, if it is ok to use aragonite crushed coral instead of aragonite sand. I happen to have a bag of crushed coral on hand. Are there any pros or cons to using it vs. sand? Thanks in advance for your input.

    If you need to use CC, make it the bottom layer and pace the finer sand on top of that.
