    How often do you replace socks in your sump, I was told every 2 wks

    I'd say depends on how thick they are and how often they get clogged I'd say. I believe they should be changed more often to prevent too much stuff accumulating in them.

    its not the clogging that is a big issue its 'stuff' breaking down and contributing to nitrates increasing in your system. I say swap em and clean em every 2-3 DAYS

    I would aim for once a week. That way, if you get busy and forget about it, then your at two weeks, not three.
