    That is the question.::)

    I am going to convert a 40 breeder into a sump. I will have the skimmer section then a DSB then the return section.

    What are your thoughts on using a bubble trap? How effective are they?

    Thanks

    I personally approve of them for water clarity mostly.

    You want a bubble trap. I don't use one between my fuge and return, but between skimmer section and return they are a must. You are basically taunting the micro bubble Gods by not having them. Not good to do.

    I am going to use by bowfront as a fuge after I get the new tank and sump running.
