I am considering doing one of the following to add a bit more filtration and flow to my tank what do you think would be best to add?

    1. A DIY 18 gallon sump with a fuge in it.

    2. An Aqua Euro USA nano skimmer

    3. A UV Sterilizer

I really don't want to put in the money for all three of them at the moment so what would be the best route for now ?

I would start with #1. Always best to add volume to your system, plus a 'fuge is a great method of filtration and for pod production. Then get a skimmer after that. I would not use a UV on a tank unless it is a QT/HT or FOWLR personally (and I do run one on my 46BF QT, but none on my reef tanks).
