I just had my sump walks cut for me. They're a little too wide. Is it okay to have them on angles? Will this make the sump any louder our not work correctly?

Your baffles were cut too long? Depends on how much too long. If it is a small amount then just make sure that the angles are the same so the baffles are parallel. If they are well off then have them cut off the extra. Remeasure your internal dimensions to get a more accurate cut. You also want to have them cut about 1/8" shorter than the internal dimension.

They are the same length and parallel to each other. Just at a big angle.

If you take them back the company should be able to belt sand them down. It would be just like sanding wood.

yeah, I think they'll have to be sanded if you want them parallel, it's next to impossible to only break off a small strip of glass...

...and be careful if you're sanding it yourself, glass dust sucks and is dangerous.
