Sump

    Planing a sump for a 125g tank not yet established, couple of question. This would be for a fowlr.

    1. How big of a sump would benefit me.

    2. Can I use a canister filter as a return pump. I would think of filling with carbon

    3. Anyone know where to get a hang on box that would be for the tank to trickle the water

    the bigger the sump the better. i have a 55 gallon under my 75 gallonwouldent do the can filter as a return pump just buy a new one. You could build a pvc overflow box to suit you needs you would just have to modify the size and legnth of the arms

    Thanks, that is a very helpful link. It has stirred my curiosity that much more and I'm a DIY kinda person so it's right up my alley
