    DIY or buy one?

    Also, I am having an issue finding a lighting fixture that will work on my tank that has 6 bulbs.

    I have a flat back hex and it is only about 10 inches wide where I can place the light fixture.

    build one, much more gratifying and how bout build a custom hood too that way you can put whatever lights you want under it?

    Yeah I was thinking that just going to be tuff with a overflow box etc..

    I would rather use legs and keep my top un-covered

    I agree with Cuttingras. Most DIY projects are cheaper and like she said,
    "more gratifying". Not to mention, the right to brag, " I made this!"

    When you built a canopy, its easier to install retro fit lights and retro-fit lights are always cheaper than the regular light fixtures. You can design your canopy to fit your needs. Luna
