About 3 weeks ago I bought a frag of Sun Coral from Aquacon.com, The frag was in very poor condition but it opened and ate with no problem. It actually opens quite regularly, 2-3 times daily. About a week after it was in I noticed it was growing rapidly and the outside edges that where white where overgrown with yellow and now it is orange with new buds popping out. Two new heads that I can see. Is that normal? Growing that fast? Also last week I noticed a little orange speck appear on a base rock on the opposite side of the tank and it seems to be growing. It is the same color orange as the coral. Any ideas?

I will try to post a pic or two.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Yes they can grow relatively quickly when feed routinely, and start producing buds that may drop off.
