    Acropora are sometimes found in tidal areas that shallow. (...some are exposed at low tide!) But you are right, most corals aren't used to the spectrum of light we put in our tanks.

    What about spectural shift? The further you move north/south, the more the spectrum shifts due to the curve in the atmosphere, IIRC that is :D
