Super glue

    An emerald crab will eat that bubble algae for you. I have never heard of using super glue to control it.

    OMG! if he eat super glue my only concern will be his mouth being glued shut where he couldn't eat no more...lol now this is the first time I hear such thing! keep an eye on him and make sure he can still open his mouth :eek:

    You can use alum instead (Tighten Up is the commercial name). It restricts the blood vessels and stops blood flow for twelve hours, and it pulls the tissue in for 12 hours. My kid stepped on a piece of ceramic tile and really needed a stitch, Tighten Up did the trick!

    I have never seen an emerald eat valonia:confused:. I don't think it's as good of a solution as it's thought to be.

    I have heard that they can be hit or miss, but I have always seen it to be more hit than miss. I do know that bubble algae in my own tank was gone in a week and all I did was add a couple emerald crabs.
