so i figured out a way to save some money on super glue. Most of you know super glue gel is the way to go, its also more expensive. So i was like hmmmm how could i get regular super glue to work with out running...........

Well what i did is take a drill and drill a small divit in a frag plug, i put the glue in the divit, worked awsome didtnt run at all! Now a 4 pack at wallys is 1.00 vs 2.00-3.00 bucks a pack for the gel type!

Hope this helps as saving money is always a good thing

The glue I use at home is a standard Cyanoacrylate, sold from my wholesaler as SPC glue... What I found that works is put the glue on the surface, let sit 30 secs or a minute, sometimes more... Once it gets tacky then put the frag on.

Do you really use that much super glue? haha. I think if I had enough frags to glue to where I was concerned with the cost of gel type over regular type I would spring for the gel type anyway, just to save the time of drilling the frag plug!

Good idea though man. It will come in handy for when I don't have any gel laying around. I work at a hardware store so I get my glue at wholesale price, so I don't worry about the cost difference.

lol yea i do, and it takes 30 second to drill 50 plugs wiht a good drill its not a big deal but the cost is huge 3 bucks a tub for gel and 1 dollar for 4 tubs of regular and the regular ones are double the size

I tried this and they worked like crap, maybe my dollar store gets different ones but the gel type from the dollar store didnt come out of the end of the tub! Plus with the ones from walmart the tubes are twice the size of the gel tubes and cheaper either way you look at it and works just as well when the plug has a small hole drilled into it.
