couple of questions about superglueing frags to rock. i know this has come up before so if i could get a link that would be good. i just wondering after i take the rock out and glue it to it how long to wait before adding it back and what glue works the best?

Stick with a gel type superglue. Superglue will harden very fast once it hits water so you wont have to wait long. I think most people do it with the rock still in the water.

I do all my supergluing under water. just like ultraner mentioned it dries much quicker underwater than out of water.

I use loctite super glue gel. Havent come across a better gel glue.

    as stated above
superglue tends to harden quickly when underwater
but Tangster gave me a really good tip that gives you just a bit longer to get that frag as you want it before the glue hardens and thus it wont stick

    make a ball of epoxy
put a small well in it and fill the well with superglue
attach and press the putty to the frag plug - the glue will have skin over but as you push it on the plug the skin breaks so the glue can then contact properly
put a small well on the other side of epoxy and fill with glue
locate plug on rock and a quick twist to once again break the skin of the glue
means you get a last chance to orientate the frag on the plug how you want it
