    Just purchased this item(on backorder) from salty supply. Is this a good skimmer for a 185 gal aquarium, 40 refuge, and 55 gal sump? Currently have 2 tunze 9011 doc skimmers which produce no skim. Thanks for your input.

    I think so. I ordered this skimmer for my 125 thats running biopellets. Its running a 2000xp right now that I like but I got the 3000sss and the 2000xp will go on my new build.

    Just make sure to run it at optimal sump deapth and you should love it.
