I know there was a long thread at RC on the mods, but it' seems to be archived.

For those that changes the outflow to PVC have you had issues with the hole you drill in the top of the cap?

Are there any better mods for the flex tubing?

Personally I didn't drill a hole in the cap i only use the one that came with the skimmer. I'll grab a picture of it and post it here in a sec. Also let me see if I can find you the site I used for idea's on modding my skimmer.

    EDIT: Tyler Merrick

Do you have a hole drilled in the PVC anywhere?

    I did something similar,

Nope no drilled holes in the PVC there was a little air hole that was part of the skimmers original design if you look at the picture just before the white PVC starts there's the black plastic before the adjustment knob on that there is the hole for air. I'm sure I could have drilled it out or put a hole in it but I feel this works. Now I'm sure I'm missing out on something maybe too much back pressure but it doesn't seem to complain. I get foam and plenty of bubbles so why fix what isn't broke?
