    This would maybe be true if doing water changes weekly or bi-weekly. Some (me) do changes every 4 weeks so dosing is more of a priority.

    I use Instant Ocean.......does that brand have enough "stuff" in it to keep my softies healthy? Switched once to another brand and had a horrible outbreak of algae. Kas
