So i bought a liberty gun safe the presidential model and it wieghs 1300#'s empty. I live in a modular home and the womans throwing a fit about wanting me to support the floor before I pick it up on Saturday have any of you ever supported the floor on a modular ?

( I was planning on putting it in the very corner of the house I figured thats the best supported spot in the entire house )

You will need to get underneath and attach addition floor joists to the ones that the safe will be sitting on.

My Dad was a carpenter. See if you can contact the manufacturer and get some specs and plans from them.
