surface skimming

    the surface skim is bugging the heck out of me is there any way other than overflow box well any other way to skim the surface

    I use a non-surface skimmer but have powerheads directed at a sharp angle towards the surface... it breaks the surface-skim and keeps it flowing throughout the whole tank, so the normal skimmer picks it up.

    Other than that, I've got no advice :(

    +1. had a real problem on an rsm, pointed one of the returns at the surface. On a custom tank, a coast to coast overflow will rid you of that.
