I set my 75g a few months ago. I don't notice anything in the sand. I'm wondering if I killed the sand when I first started bc I used conditioned tap water to start it. I now use R/O SW during changes. If I use

What gives you the impression that your sand is "dead"? How many months has your tank been set up?

just because you dont see anything dosen't really mean much

i personally wouldn't waste my money on that. over time your tank sand will flourish with pods

You probably won't for a while. And most of the stuff that makes it "live" is invisible to the naked eye. Your sand is, in fact, "live" as we speak. I'm not sure about the product you are referring to, so, I can't attest to it's amazing performance. I would guess that it is a waste of money though.
