surprise vacation help

My gf just surprised me with an earlt xmas presant going away sun night comming home fri night.no1 will be around to take care of my fish. I haven't gotten my ato set up yet on my but tank and I top off every other day roughly 5 gallons.im thinking I can condense all my tanks into the 1 big system so top offs on the other tanks isn't such an issue.I also have an angler fish but I think he will be fine with out eating for the few days.my mantis' will be fine with out eating aswell. Mabe ill go buy afew auto feeders and an ato and call it a day?

 

that may be your only option...no one around you that you would trust to watch your tank?

a fish feeder should be good enough for now in that case and the ato is a little iffy because sometimes they need to be fine tuned, i would say maybe ask a neighbor or relative or something to help you out

 

Well I have plenty of leeway with the ato its a 340g system so it would take alot to really hurt anything.im also going to move my skimmer pump lower so it can't run dry.I can usually go 3 days befor it absolutely needs to top off so I think ill be ok.

 

You sound like you know what you're talking about...if only going away a few days it shoukd be give without topping off and use an auto fish feeder

 

Guess im just nervous of my little babies lol
