ok so heres the deal. it doesn't look like any of the isopods i have looked at. and as i understand isopods USUALLY play at lights out. these are very active during the lights on period, pickin up coral substrate cleaning it. Is it possible that maybe brine shirmp had survived?

Brine shrimp cannot survive in any tank containing predators.
Also, with any normal tank flow, the brine shrimp have no control of where they go. They basically go with the flow and remain in the water column.

i dunno when i put the shrimp in they seemed to swimwhere they wanted to until they hit the more stronger current. I also have many places that anything that small can hide from. i noticed them inside a star polyp they moved to a tiny hole in a rock and now i have noticed that they pickup the substraight and clean it n drop it.

No brine shrimp picks up substrate, cleans it and drops it. They don't know enough to go and hide, although they occasionally may find their way into a hole or crevice and then come back out again.
Picking up something is more like the mysid shrimp that most hobbyists at one time find cavorting around in their tanks between the rocks near the bottom. Mysid will look like miniature cleaner shrimp and move so fast it's hard to catch them.
