This is one tough Coral, it survived a 4 days of travel, a week of total darkness, the curing of rock and tank cycle, the pics are poor thanks to a not so good camera, but I found this Coral head on the botton of the bag my rock came in, I was going to toss it, but to my delight after deciding to put it in the tank I found some survivors, it looks like 5 has survived from what I have seen, any ideas despite the poor pics of the Coral type.

In pic2 which was taken several days after the 1st one, the water is more healthy and its little polyps or tentacles are more stretched out so they don't look as brown as they did the 1st pic, more like white or clear with little white tips.

I wanted to update this since the Coral is much healthier than when I posted and see if there is any new thoughts.

Looks more like dendro of some sort to me. Would explain why it didn't die without light.

dendro! yes after searching it, it does look like a dendro, since it came in with Caribbean rock, figures mine would have no color.
