Survivorman makes coconut steamed tridacna

Did anyone happen to catch the new survivorman last night on discovery, he was eating turbo snails and trdiacnid clams he fished for. first he was eating them raw then he started to steam them in cocnuts. pretty sweet if you ask me.

 

mmm I didnt see it but im thinking i wanna !!!

 

I hope he didn't eat any of the rare, beautiful, exotic and expensive black Maxima!!!!!!!
At $369.00 each, that would be a shame!

 

they looked all like croceas i was amazed how many he was able to find. he even said in the episode that with all the food he was able to get he wouldn't mind staying for a couple more days.

 

I tivod that and watched it last night.....all the clams were dull in color....i was amazed how many rats lived on cook island.

 

it was super hard to see the color of the mantle with the camera he was using also most of the mantle was not visible by the time he got close enough to see the colors.

 

makes me want to dip into my tank for a snack. mmmmmm!
