    Hello!
I currently have a trio of Pajama Cardinalfish in my 55 gallon. I would like to trade them in for a trio of Banghaii Cardinalfish (Kauderns).
My first question is.... Can the Banghaiis be kept in trio's in my 55?
My next question is... will they do fine with my other tank inhabitants??? (pair of OC clowns, 2 blue/green chromis, pair of YWG's, and a Royal Gramma (en route from the LFS)???

Not too much for my 55 is it?

all of my params are where they should be. thanks for your help and input.

    Hey JP,

Personally I like the Banghaiis better. I do not think a trio would be too much for the tank. If you got them young they would probably be fine. But again they are somewhat cryptic. I love that fact that they are mouth brooders, I just think that is so cool.

The only problem I see is the female clown. If possible introduce them with the lights off and change up a small part of the scape to give the clownfish something else to think about while the Cardinals acclimate.

    :)

If you get a trio, make sure they have been a trio for a while (at the LFS, online, etc.). I bought a "trio" from a local retailer, and within 6 days, I had 1 Bangaii. Now he is still with me (6 months later), but he killed off the other 2 immediately. I know from researching, this is not common, but not unheard of either. So, try to get a trio that have been together, in the same tank, for at least 2-3 weeks.
