    I'm considering this skimmer as well. I haven't really seen a lot about it, the other SWC skimmers seem to get a lot more coverage. How loud is it? Also, is that a standard 20g high sump you have it in? How wide do you make that first baffle area? Thanks

    It is literally silent. I honestly can not here when it is on. My sump is a 15g. I it is the same size as a 20H but just not as tall. My baffles are 9" high and the skimmer seams to like that depth. The first are is 7" wide. It is a little tight in there with the skimmer and filter sock, but is works.


    The skimmer is now producing some seriously dark and thick skimmate. I will snap some picks next time I empty it.
