    I have nothing bad to say. Good product, priced well, great customer service. I have been running the extreme cone 120 for a few months now and it works great.

    agreed, with above... GREAT customer service. i have the SCW 120 cone, it had a bad impeller on it ,which became very noisy in the first month. one call to the company and after trying what they asked me to try ( took 2 minutes) that didn't work they knew what it was and shipped the parts very quickly. Now it runs great and is so quiet, its several months old now and I'm very happy with it. its a very well made product not flimsy at all, and if by chance there is a problem ( which happens some times), no worries this company stands behind its product.

    I have owned my 160 cone since it became available through swcskimmers.com. My only complaint is the pump restart issue I am now having. I have to clean the impeller shaft and impeller monthly or else I have the issue.

    What size tank will you be running the skimmer on? Also, which skimmer are you looking at exactly?

    I have the same skimmer and I have the same problem. Actually I can't get mine to start after cleaning. I just ordered my 3rd pump. If it craps out on me I will be done with this skimmer.
