Sweet my LFS came through for me! NEW PICS ADDED!

I have had issues with the two saltwater places in town not carrying cool stuff, but in their defense is doesn't look like people here really want cool corals. Well I suggested he put 14k or 20k halides in his fixture instead of the nasty old 10k's that make everything look brown, and maybe people would say, "Hey, those are cool what do I need to do to keep them?".
Well today i go in with my wife and he has the bulbs upgraded and all sorts of neat frags. I put Billing's first torch on hold (just a purple on purple single head), and a duncan head for 12 bucks a peice, which I like. They also had a big yelow/pink acro colony with a goby that showed up with it (i was checking for an acro crab).
All I gotta say is I'm impressed with them stepping up, and even though I dont really need any more coral, I want to support thier new direction.

 

its hard not to want more, bigger and better. I struggle with that all the time. thats cool, i wish one of the lfs around here would take better care of their livestock, but i heard that they only like to work with the noobs, because they dont know as much and they can sell them more than someone who know.

 

That's cool that they followed your advice! Someone selling, but not just to sell.

 

well heck a 20k bulb alone should sell more coral since it makes most corals look so much bettter, but getting in some cool LPS frags and selling them for a reasonable price will get people into something other than brown softies and xenia
