I also think fishneedit is the way to go still. The mh with maybe some low power LEDs would work.. Then again, you might still have the heat problem. If your limited on the bulbs with the t5, don't do it. That's the big bonus with t5s.

i think ill be fine with actinic and 12000k. 6 bulbs is awesome and it doesn't hang over the tank.

 

For those of you who didn't know, i found out they make purple bulbs for the nova t5. so ill be going with that. ill have 2 white 3 blue and 1 purple..

 

Nice i like purple! so now are your lights pretty much just like mine on the red sea max? Does the fixture have moonlights?!

 

Yep! Six bulb. No moonlights. I might be able to take the biocube moonlights out and put them in....

 

How many led moonlights are in the biocube? Haha man the lights are BRIGHT! Are there legs on the fixture?
