    Quick question, I'm doing a water change tonight, my made up water is at 1.028 and the tanks water is at 1.024. will it be ok to use this water?!

    How big of a water change are you doing. If it is a small amount you will probably be alright.

    3 gallons in about 26 gallons of water. Thatll raise it 3-4 points, ive done it on my tank

    10%. And I want to raise my salinity to 1.026 anyways.

    I would just add the water slowly and watch your SG as you go. If anything, you can take some water out and replace it with fresh RO/DI water to lower your SG.

    It will take a little while for the salinity to be equal in the whole system, wait a little before you test.
