swine flu

I am just getting over something that put me on my *** for a week. Yesterday, I slept and slept and slept. Don't think it was H1N1 though. Just a bug. However, starting to feel, yes, the need for Braaaaaiiiiins.

And Kiarah, good luck to you and yours. Any indication when you will be able to venture out? Anything they can give in the UK assuming you have been exposed?

 

I saw huge crowds of zombies the last time I was in Reno. They seemed to all be standing in front of the slot machines.

 

Jason you are sick more than anyone else I know. It's like every 2 weeks. Less whiskey and chewing tobacco. Tada you're cured.


BTW people. Those surgical masks are offering minimal protection from other people's germs. They work better for containing your own germs. I should know I get to wear one every damn day at work.

 

Its odd really but my brother has been sick for like a week now so called me & said that he fells so ruff he thinks he now has a cheast infection & that he now really thinks he should have gone to the doctors.....this was between the coughing fits! so i called my doctors ( who we had already spoken to about him) & they said they have banned all people with swine flu simptoms from the surgery! so the nurse called him back & said he had seasonal flu! ( you only get this in the winter months here & we are in the full swing off summer!) and that he should drink honey. So i called the nurse back as i was not happy & said that if its just seasonal flu then ill bring him to the surgery to which she reply ... best not to ill get the doctor to ring him!
So the doctor rang him & said that even if he has got swine flu the goverment have changed how they are treating people & he dont fall into the group off people that are aloud treatment e.g under 5 , heart & lung problems. So hes not aloud to have the tamiflu anti viral drugs! but had he not been sooooo stuburn the 1st few days when we contacted the doctors then he would have still fell under the old rules to treat everyone! the doctor also said that he is otherwise a fit healty 25 year old & that even if he did have a chest infection his body will fight it so there is no need for antibiotics!
My poor brother is like a mouse so just said ok then but im gutted for him as hes weezing his head off after having coughing fits, has such a bad throat he can hardly talk, he is sleeping all the time and its really worryin me!
I have never none anyone to have a chest infection & not be given antibiotics!
