I have a dosing question for all. I'm currently dosing 11 tsp of Seachems Reef Buffer and 11 tsp of Reef Builder on a weekly basis. I'm currently doing this manually with out a doser, which is a real big PIA. I'm switching to a Profilux doser here in the next week and I'm also switching to a new Buffer the Brightwell Alkaline8.3-P. The reason for this is the Seachem products settle and jam up doser pumps and the brightwell product mixes clear. So my question is I've read both the bottles of Seachem and Brightwell and I"m pretty confused on how much to use of the new buffer to add to my weekly one gallon solution? Any advice would be great. Thanks all.

You will need to add 80 tsp to 1 gallon of water to get their suggested solution. You will need to add 3ml to get an increase of 1dKH in a gallon of water. So multiply your daily dKH loss times 3ml then multiply that figure times your system volume in gallons to get how much to dose daily.

Just throwing this out there, I recently did a 3reef group buy with BSR. I bought their Alk and Cal. powders to make your own Two part and I am so glad I did. The calculator on the site is super easy and after a week of testing and dosing I have my parameters where I want them and I also dialed in my usage. The stuff is super cheap, like really cheap. Plus they also have videos that show you step by step how to come up with a dosing routine. You should at least check it out.
