    Well I did some calculations a while back for my planned 180 reef and buying 3 250w pendants plus 2 Galxy ballasts vs 3 Orphek PR156Ws. I planned on replacing the the MH bulbs (Ushio 20K for this example) every 9 months and foumd that the LED will pay for itself in bulb replacement and electicity in 2.8 years.
